A new trailer for Hatchet II's VOD run has popped up on YouTube, and of course, we figured we'd better bring it to you guys pronto if only as a reminder that the flick is playing right now, UNCUT, On Demand!
Stoked for February to hurry up and get here so you can get your hands on Hatchet II? Yep, we are too, and as a means to get you geared up, dig on the official Blu-ray artwork! Adam Green's Hatchet II will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on February 1st, 2011. Additional info, including bonus materials and art, will be announced soon.
Looking forward to the new flick from Glass Eye Pix, Bitter Feast, which features Iron Chef Mario Batali? Yeah, we are too, and come late Tuesday we're gonna hear from the man himself!

It’s hard to believe that the US premiere for Adam Green’s Hatchet II is only about a week away, and while we’ve had the opportunity here at Dread Central to hear from some of the key players in the project (including Green, AJ Bowen, and Tom Holland), we’re ready to introduce you to Alexis Peters, the up-and-coming actress who portrays Avery in the sequel.

For the past several weeks we've been talking about why you should go see Hatchet II this weekend. We've even asked that if it's not playing by you to support it anyway by going online and buying a ticket to send a message to Hollywood and the MPAA that there IS a market for unrated horror. Now we're putting OUR money where our mouths are!
Horror fans, you've asked for a movie that doesn't shy away from the blood, guts and gore; and Hatchet II delivers that and more. Adam Green and Dark Sky Films, in association with AMC Theaters, are opening Hatchet II unrated rather than cutting out the good stuff to please the MPAA. Last night Hatchet II made its Los Angeles premiere at the historic Egyptian Theatre, and since Dread Central was a co-sponsor of the horror-star-studded event, we were in full force to bring you guys back the goods.
