Dark Souls 1 Getting Remastered Version For Latest Console Era

Praise the sun and F**K I DIED AGAIN WHAT THE SH*T I HATE THIS GAME!!!

Some very exciting news is splashing across the internet as it appears that From Software is going to make an official announcement today that Dark Souls is getting a remastered version for the Nintendo Switch that will include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, all set to come out on May 15. But that’s not all!

Per Kotaku UK, this remastered version isn’t just coming to Nintendo’s latest console, it’s coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. These versions will also have lighting and SFX based on the mechanics found in Dark Souls 3. Multiplayer will also get beefed up with six players able to play at the same time.

For those who were hoping for a Dark Souls trilogy boxset, you’ll be happy to hear that one exists! Then you’ll be crushed with disappointment when you learn that it’s limited to Japan and is for PS4 only. Plus, it’ll cost nearly $450, so that’s also a thing, although considering everything going into the collection, it’s…still kinda not worth that much. But if you want to see the packaging, they’ve made an official website that showcases all the fun stuff going on in the collection.
