Direct to video is great, and some would argue that some of the best stuff is coming out straight to the home market. But the classics -- the ones that had their first life IN the theater -- they deserve to be seen that way. At least once. And if you are a real horror fan, you owe it to yourself to see the classics in the theater whenever possible. The group experience can't be beat.

No matter how you slice it, Dario Argento is in serious need of a good movie. Over the years the master has been slipping with his flicks to the point of them not even resembling any of his previous works. It's kind of heartbreaking. While we've heard nothing but horrible, horrible things about Dario Argento's Giallo, we're always of the mindset that you should see it, if only to make up your mind for yourself. A lawsuit recently blocked the film from being released here, but thankfully the dust has settled.
