Greg McLean is working on bringing both Wolf Creek 3 and Wolf Creek Season 3 to the screen, according to Mick Taylor himself John Jarratt.
He took to Facebook, writing: “Hey guys! Let’s have a little chat about the return of our old mate Uncle Mick…To my delight – I have received an overwhelming amount of messages about Wolf Creek 3 the season and the movie. Greg McLean and I have both projects in the works but unfortunately, Covid-19 has the world at a standstill. I promise to keep you updated as we all try our best to get through these tough times.”

The original film was a chilling, factually based story of three road-trippers in remote Australia who are plunged into danger when they accept help from a friendly local. Kristy, Ben and Liz are three friends in their twenties who set out to hike through the scenic Wolf Creek National Park in the Australian Outback. The trouble begins when they find that their car won’t start and they run into a local bushman named Mick Taylor.
Rated R for strong gruesome violence, and for language, it sports a 53% over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Though Wolf Creek is effectively horrific, it is still tasteless exploitation.
