We're all excited to see where Kevin Williamson takes his characters in Scream 4 and beyond, and the actors are too. In a recent interview Courteney Cox expounded a bit on where she thinks her character and her husband David Arquette's character, Dewey, are all these years later.

Has it really been over nine years since Wes Craven’s Scream trilogy limped to its conclusion in a cavalcade of convoluted plot twists and poorly staged murder sequences – the result of a villain so forgettable I was sure he hadn’t been in the film prior to his unmasking?

Even though Wes Craven recently said David Arquette and Courteney Cox's return to the Scream franchise was pretty much a done deal, it's always nice to get confirmation. And today that's exactly what we got, straight from the mouth of Deputy Dwight "Dewey" Riley himself.

Reboot. Redux. Remake. Relax. It's all the same crap, isn't it? Entertainment Weekly got word tonight that a potential reboot of Wes Craven's Scream franchise is in the works.
