With the ill-fated remake having suffered a less than stellar performance at the US box office, Sam Peckinpah’s original classic thriller Straw Dogs has now been treated to a remastered Blu-ray release in the UK courtesy of FremantleMedia Enterprises. To mark the occasion, we’ve found ourselves with two copies of this new high-def treat to give away!
Coinciding with its 40th anniversary and the remake by Rod Lurie for Screen Gems, director Sam Peckinpah’s notorious thriller Straw Dogs has been carefully restored and remastered for release on two-disc DVD and for the first time ever as a features-packed Special Edition Blu-ray on 24th October 2011.
