CONTEST CLOSED! In the UK? Win a Copy of Serial Killers: The Real Life Hannibal Lecters

Those of you in the UK harbouring an interest in the real life horrors of the mind of a serial killer are in luck, as courtesy of Stax Entertainment we have three DVD copies of the new documentary Serial Killers: The Real Life Hannibal Lecters to give away.

The world’s fascination with serial killers has spawned hundreds of fictional madmen in novels and feature films such as Silence of the Lambs, Seven, Kiss the Girls, and The Bone Collector. None is more notorious than Thomas Harris’ diabolical creation Dr. Hannibal Lecter. However, before Lecter, there was a select group of real life monsters that terrorized our neighbourhoods: Ted Bundy, Albert Fish, Jeffrey Dahmer, Andrei Chikatilo, and John Wayne Gacy. Among them they claimed over 150 lives.

Serial Killers: The Real Life Hannibal Lecters will take you into a world that is rarely shown on television: the grotesque and macabre world that these monsters lived in. With never-before-seen footage, including interviews with world renowned experts on serial killers and exclusive footage of these real life cannibals, you will experience the holocaust these animals created. These killers were the models for Hannibal Lecter.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply shoot us an E-MAIL HERE, including your FULL NAME AND ADDRESS, and we’ll take care of the rest.

I also find this stuff pretty fascinating. I have a region free dvd player, so I might just have to get my hands on this one.

Fuck this movie. I can’t stand true crime stuff. I don’t have the stomach for it but my fiancee on the other hand would love it and she hates horror movies. Who’s more off in the head?

    • Terminal

      Wow that was easy.

I wasn’t talking about in general. It’s fun to be a bit crazy sometimes.

Your response makes you sound even more crazy.

I don’t know why, but I love me some true crime stuff. I always found it very interesting and horrifying.

Yeah, it’s odd that it seems more bizarre to be a hardcore horror fan than it is to be obsessed with serial killers, murderers, rapists and child molesters. My fiancee was watching a show one night about a young girl who stabbed her mother to death and while she was dying she kept asking her if she was dead yet. It just fucks me up how evil people can be. I like horror movies because they’re pure fantasy and mostly impossible and exaggerated. It’s escapism to me. Just like science-fiction.

There is one serial killer that interests me though. Jack The Ripper. There’s just so much mystery surrounding him it’s more like something out of Sherlock Holmes. Who was he? Why did he kill prostitutes. Was he, in fact, a doctor or surgeon? There’s so many theories and several good movies, From Hell is my favorite. It’s so far removed and will probably never be solved obviously. which makes it even more interesting.

          • The Woman In Black

From Hell annoyed me to no end with how ridiculously clean Heather Graham was throughout. It totally ruined the experience.

          • Terminal

“From Hell” accomplished something big. It actually made me bored watching something about Jack the Ripper.

Time After Time is another fave.

I hear ya brother. I don’t like true crime stuff at all, well at least with serial killers. Stories about heists and robberies-cool! Stories about sexually depraved lunatics who torture kill people-nope.
