We here at Dread Central know that the Living Dead Dolls aren’t for everyone, but there are a lot of you out there, a lot, who keep collecting them every time a new series is launched, so with Christmas so damn close we wanted to encourage your spending habits with Series 17.

There's no question Sideshow Collectibles puts out some really cool stuff, my favorite of which has always been their Dead series. Who doesn't want a collection of zombies on their shelf? Now it seems the Dead are going to be getting a little bigger!

With all the buzz surrounding Warner Bros. horror anthology Trick 'r Treat it was only a matter of time before someone aside from Sideshow made a figure out of the film's main evil entity, Sam, and is it any surprise that that someone is NECA?

A few months ago you might recall we did a story that Hasbro’s over priced plastic version of the Cloverfield monster may have been cancelled. Nothing specific was ever said one way or another by the company, unfortunately, so we just had to go with the info available to us, which was that those who pre-ordered were getting notifications that the toy was discontinued.

Just got a heads up from the guys behind the upcoming indie film Satanic Panic, Marc Selz Productions, that a mask design used in the movie was just picked up by Chicago-based Zagone Studios for reproduction! The mask, which you can see in all its badass glory below, will be part of Zagone’s 2009 catalog and will be in select Halloween outlets next year.

I love that Sideshow has the presence of mind to create a series all their own that they can continue making ad infintum with any variations of zombie they can think of. That’s what we call forward thinking, fiends.

One thing I think we can all agree on the collectible world is short of is Bruce Campbell figures that come with whiskey, don’t you think? Enter Dark Horse, who have taken up the mantle and run with it, producing the first Bruce figure from My Name is Bruce, which hits DVD on February 10th.

Though I don’t fully understand the implications of this announcement, I know what it means to horror fans: The end of Horrorclix is nigh. The Topps Company announced today that it would immediately cease operations of Horrorclix makers WizKids, which is also responsible for the superhero-oriented game Heroclix.
