More zombie mayhem is marching our way with Code Red, which has been described as "Band of Brothers" meets "The Walking Dead." Those are pretty big words. Let's hope it can live up to them.

Code Red has been going “code blue” of late, releasing the likes of Nail Gun Massacre and Just Before Dawn on Blu-ray. We now know of seven more forthcoming Blu horror titles from the 70s, 80s, and 90s they have in the works to further empty your wallets in the coming year.
Nail Gun Massacre, Just Before Dawn, and The Electric Chair Coming to Blu-ray Next Year; Plus More Code Red 2013 Releases
With other companies making waves releasing cult horror films on Blu-ray, it's no surprise Code Red DVD is getting in on the trend by bringing Nail Gun Massacre, Just Before Dawn, and The Electric Chair to hi-def.
And the award for most dramatic headline of the day goes to... No matter how hard you try, no matter how many head shots you fire off, the living dead? They just keep on coming. Such is the case with the new film from the director of After Dark's Re-Kill entitled Code Red.
Look out, Elvira! Ex-WWE diva Maria Kanellis is moving in on your turf. The Playboy centerfold is teaming up with Code Red DVD to play movie host for “Maria’s B Movie Mayhem”, an impressive line-up of cult classics and video nasties titles, many getting their first-ever DVD release.
While we all wait patiently for another hint of word regarding the long proposed sequel to the much beloved Eighties slasher Madman, some fans have gotten together and shot their own trailer for the sequel. Note this is FAN-MADE and not official, but since we admire their passion, we figured we'd share it with you anyway!
Finally something official pertaining to the long awaited re-release of the slasher classic Madman! That's right, kids! We've got the art, the date, and even a look at what you're gonna find on the DVD when you get it into your claws! Just be careful not to say his name above a whisper.
The great folks at Code Red DVD are at it once again digging up hard-to-find blasts from the past to give the digital treatment to. Two of the latest drive-in favorites getting the special edition treatment via Code Red are the el cheapo 1974 cult fave Horror High (AKA Twisted Brain) and the 1973 survival thriller Terminal Island.
Ah, Slithis ... I first saw this little rubber monster ditty when CBS ran it late night back in the Eighties under the alternate title Spawn of the Slithis. Scared the heck out of me as a little kid, not so much as an adult watching it on a horribly murky VHS transfer. Now Code Red is preparing to introduce Slithis to the digital world.
If you missed out on the classic Eighties slasher Madman and are having a bitch of a time finding the original Anchor Bay DVD, then sit tight! Help is on the way and a new edition is in the works!

At the time a release date was not set in stone. Now I find out that release date is next week, September 8th to be exact.
Let me get this straight: the people responsible for Zombie Nightmare made a slasher spoof about a basketball team getting slaughtered by a psycho with the head of a Madball and somehow this has been allowed to sit on a shelf for almost 15 years?
