I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really looking forward to Patrick Lussier’s remake of My Bloody Valentine, and not just because it’s going to be in 3D. No, the more I read about the more it sounds like it’s going to be a damn solid horror film.

Yet another change up in the world of Clock Tower, the movie adaptation of the groundbreaking survival horror game from Capcom, came to light today via Variety.

Apparently I missed the sad news about Sangre Eterna director Jorge Olguin no longer working on the Clock Tower adaptation; that or the film is in such a state of development hell that he decided to work on some other things while it’s pending. Things like the first Chilean zombie film, The Descendents (aka Solos).

It must be both a frustrating and exciting time for Sangra Eterna helmer Jorge Olguin. His creepy-sounding ghost story, The Call of the Sea, which is being produced by Guillermo del Toro, is set to finally start shooting this April; but his big budget U.S.

Originally intended as a comeback film for Candyman helmer Bernard Rose, Amusement is now in the hands of John Simpson, director of Freeze Frame, and The Hollywood Reporter has learned of the first casting for it.
