Books-to-film is a far more acceptable action via a studio than a remake. Think about how many good books (no, not Twilight) are sitting out there just waiting for a creative team to bring them to life! Oh, the never ending pain we must endure!

Chuck Palahniuk
A Name for Lullaby Helmer
A nameless reader just dropped us a line with clarification on the story we did a few days back regarding a director being brought on board to adapt Chuck Palahniuk’s Lullaby. The source we got the original intel from didn’t know the director’s actual name, just how it sounded when spoken, but our scooper seems to have deciphered it.

Director Chosen for Palahniuk's Lullaby
Though I’ve never read a single thing by him, it’s not because I have anything against Chuck Palahniuk. I’m sure he’s a great author and someday I’ll sit down and actually start digging through some of his works. One of his more horror-centric novels that I'll be sure to hit first is Lullaby, and it sounds like it’s finally on its way to the big screen.
