Go Insane in Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness

When you’re adapting Lovecraft work, insanity is usually a problem. In Chronicles of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness, you’ll be going insane while solving puzzles.
A point-and-click adventure game and a prequel set 10 years before 2017’s Chronicle of Innsmouth, you play as detective Lone Carter. One day Carter wakes up right in time to find himself horribly murdered… then wakes up again completely fine. He has nightmares about some awful future to come and begins to investigate this in his hometown of Arkham. Before long, he finds himself in an otherworldly plot and against horrifying monsters.
To do so, Mountains of Madness is a point-and-click adventure game. You’ll need to solve puzzles, collect items, and use them in smart ways to advance. In addition to this, you won’t just be playing as Carter. You’ll also occasionally step into the shoes of Abdul Alhazred, who many may know as the author of the Necronomicon, and even H.P. Lovecraft himself. Hopefully all these perspectives can lead to Carter solving the case. Or he’ll end up dead.
