A true bounty of goods await those who have a few extra dollars to spend on DVDs this week what with Grace, Deadgirl, and (can you believe it?) Phantasm II finally hitting the home market, An American Werewolf in London and Army of Darkness bowing on Blu-ray, and NBC's Fear Itself anthology series getting released in its entirety. And that's just the beginning!
Yet another classic is being rolled out onto Blu-ray high-def this fall, this time featuring everyone's favorite bad Good Guy!
We’ve still got over a month to wait before Sideshow Collectibles’ annual Spooktacular event rolls out, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to be holding all their new horror collectibles close to their chest.
If you were one of the legion of fans who picked up Child’s Play: 20th Birthday Edition (review) last week, I’m sure you noticed one glaring omission from the disc: anything from director Tom Holland!
I’ve seen some weird shit in the few times I’ve been in Times Square, but man this takes the cake. As you can see from the image below, 20th Century Fox unleashed an army of Chuckys into the heart of Manhattan on Tuesday to promote the release of the Child’s Play: 20th Birthday Edition DVD (review). STYD received the cover art for what is now known as Child's Play: Chucky's 20th Birthday Edition. We were expecting something with a little more zazz. Remember the Child's Play collection that came out a couple of years ago? How about something creepy like that? Jazz it up with a buttload of zazz.
On September 9th, the same day as the new Pumpkinhead DVD, Child's Play will be hitting store shelves again as it reaches 20 years since the killer doll ravaged a kid and his mom with voodoo and murder.
**Scroll to the bottom for the update!** Great news out there for all you fans of tiny dolls that have been running amok due in part to demonic infestations!
My wife and I always joke about having weird mutant powers, like the power to tell when milk has gone bad without opening the carton, but this one just seems downright annoying.
