Viral videos a tricky breed. You just never know what’s going to strike a chord with folks and get turned into an overnight sensation. Case in point: the adorable little video entitled Charlie Bit My Finger.

In it two young brothers mug for the camera when one of them gets chomp-happy. It’s heartwarming, sweet, and guaranteed to bring a smile to your face, providing of course that you like children.

On the other hand, if you don’t favor the little scamps or just prefer something a bit more visceral when it comes to the whole biting thing, director Jeff Chan remade the now classic viral video horror film style as part of the World Wide Short Film Fest.
