April Fools’ Day is always entertaining here on the internet. Pretty much everyone gets in on the fun by concocting their own faux news stories. One of the best we’ve seen so far today comes courtesy of UK firm Fetch Publicity, who announced the impending arrival of the world’s first Catfurnado!
An obvious spoof of Syfy’s Sharknado, Catfurnado imagines what would happen if a tornado of cats swept through London as global warming creates a vortex of furry vengeance. It’s unstoppable, reads the tagline; it’s pussy at one hundred miles per hour!
Check out the hilarious piece of poster art for the faux film below, which was inspired by an actual news story that came out of England earlier this year, where a mini-tornado lifted cats into the air. Proof that sometimes the truth is indeed stranger than fiction!
We’ve gotta admit… we’d pay good money to see this movie if it were the real deal. Wouldn’t you?!
