In case you missed it elsewhere, Lionsgate and After Dark Films have already announced the street date for the Horrorfest 3 DVD box set; March 31st,2009. Just a few weeks ago we found out that Autopsy and Dying Breed (review) were going to be part of After Dark Horrorfest III, but now we can finally say the announcement is official thanks to a press release from After Dark Film's CEO Courtney Solomon.

We've been keeping close tabs on the 8 Films to Die For that will be playing during the upcoming After Dark Horrorfest III, and today we got the news that the dates of the fest have shifted slightly to January 9-15, 2009.

Well, this is a bit unexpected; for the first time since its inception, After Dark Films will be featuring a sequel as one of this year’s 8 Films to Die For. Some may question the validity of said sequel, but there is a good chance of it getting butts in seats.
