Performance artist and drag performer Shanita Bump loves to get weird. Starting as a club kid, Bump used their love of horror and iconic looks to craft their shows, which can get pretty messy, to say the least. No matter the look or the stage, horror is at the core of their work, whether they’re covered in blood or wrapped in plastic and human teeth.
Jazz and Kat from Girl That’s Scary sat down with Shanita Bump to talk about their start as a club kid, getting paid to pull amazing looks, and how Thirteen Ghosts continuously inspires them.
