Trailer for Devil's Chair!
From what I’ve seen of Adam Mason’s The Devil’s Chair, this is a movie that’s going to disgust and offend a lot of people when it finally gets out there. Which is all right because when a movie does that to you, you never really forget it.

Mason, Adam (Blood River)
Interview by: Johnny Butane
I love it when this happens; an indie director drops us a line with details about his new movie, and it sounds interesting enough for me to warrant a viewing. Said films shows up, impresses me enough to give it a good review, and I pay attention to what the director is on to next.
In the case of Adam Mason, that’s become quite a lot to keep track of. His first film, Broken (DVD review) got scooped up by Dimension Extreme as the flagship title of the new label, not a bad honor if you can get it, and his follow-up, The Devil’s Chair, is following in those footsteps. Then there’s his latest movie, Blood River, which is in postproduction as we speak, not to mention a slew of other movies in various stages of production.
So finally I decided it was time to have a talk with the British badboy and get the lowdown on all the projects he’s juggling at present. The result is one of my favorite interviews to date, mainly because it was a long time coming; I hope you agree!
