Kasch just called in from AFM with some good news for those of you who dug Brett Sullivan’s Ginger Snaps 2 follow-up, The Chair (DVD review); Sullivan and writing parner Michael Capellupo are currently writing a sequel, which is being called The Chair 2: Ressurrection of Crowe.
Brett Sullivan, whom we last saw directing Ginger Snaps II (review), is back at the helm of a new movie titled The Chair. Last year it was making the rounds at Montreal’s World Film Festival and Lionsgate must have liked it.
One of those movies that’s been floating out there for a while now with little to no hype is Brett Sullivan’s follow-up to the excellent Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed, a trippy sounding horror movie called The Chair.
Wow, it’s been a long time since we’ve heard hide or hair about Brett (Ginger Snaps 2) Sullivan’s second feature, The Chair. I mean it's been a long time. Today, however, that silence was broken when Fangoria heard from producer Doug Patterson, who delivered the good news that a new trailer is online (see it below) and that they just screened the film for industry folk in Toronto and got a great response.
Now that it's possible to make a movie right on your home computer, indie horror flicks have become a dime-a-dozen. Every now and again, though, one stands out. Case in point -- director Brett Sullivan's latest shock-fest,
