Paramount Sets Christopher Landon to Direct Boy Scouts vs. Zombies

Yet another “versus” film is heading our way, but given the premise and the talent involved, we think this one definitely sounds like some fun. Read on for the first details of Boy Scouts vs. Zombies!

Per Deadline, Paramount Pictures has selected Christopher Landon to direct Boy Scouts vs. Zombies as his follow-up to Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, which the studio is releasing on January 3, 2014. Landon wrote and directed The Marked Ones after writing Paranormal Activity 3 and 4 and co-writing Paranormal Activity 2.

Boy Scouts vs. Zombies is a Black List script by Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki, and production is set to begin in spring 2014 after Landon polishes the screenplay. The film is being produced by Todd Garner and his Broken Road Productions, Andy Fickman and Betsy Sullenger of Oops Doughnuts, and Bryan Brucks and his Brucks Entertainment. Broken Road’s Sean Robins is exec producer.
