Scorpion Releasing has unleashed George Hickenlooper‘s horror-war movie The Killing Box with Corbin Bernsen, Martin Sheen, and Billy Bob Thornton on Blu-ray.
Anyway, it takes place during the Civil War where a Union soldier is recruited to investigate a series of crucifixions by a renegade band of Confederate Soldiers. He enlists the help of an old mentor to hunt them down. Life and death are is on the line, but this enemy might not be alive! It becomes a tale of horror like no other.
For those keeping score at home, the movie has also been known as Grey Knight and Lost Brigade. But it should have called the movie Confederate Crucifixions.
Hickenlooper (Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse) directs from a screenplay written by Matt Greenberg (1408, Halloween H20). Bernsen, Sheen, and Thornton star with Adrian Pasdar, Ray Wise, Cynda Williams, and David Arquette.
