San Diego Comic-Con 2014: CineQuest & Benson Entertainment Releasing Exclusive BTVS ‘Triangle Tara’ Figure

Summer is upon us, which means San Diego Comic-Con is just around the corner. Here’s another exclusive heading to the show: “Triangle Tara,” a rare “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” collectible previously offered only in a signed edition at a rather steep price.

CineQuest.com and Benson Entertainment are going back in time to release an amazingly rare “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” action figure that was previously only available in a signed edition for $125.
“Triangle” Tara was created especially for Amber Benson by Diamond Select Toys as a way for the actress who played Tara Maclay to raise money to raise funds for her 2006 film Lovers, Liars, and Lunatics. The original run of “Triangle” Tara was only 2,000 figures worldwide. There will be only 300 of the unsigned edition, which comes blister-carded in a white box mailer. Accessories include purse, potion bottle, candle, and book.
The 6″ figure is based on Tara as she appeared in the “Buffy” Season 5 episode “Triangle,” in which Willow and Anya conjure Olaf the Troll while Giles is away from the Magic Box in England.
For the first time and exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con 2014, CineQuest.com is offering the unsigned edition of the figure in association with Benson Entertainment. It is being offered at a special preorder price of $22 for a limited time to attendees for pickup at the show in July. A limited number are being reserved for non-attendees for shipment after the show.
Limited to 300 pieces, the unsigned “Triangle” Tara variant figure will be released at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 (July 24-27) at the CineQuest.com booth (#4738). A limited number will be sold each day of the convention to ensure all attendees have a chance to purchase the variant.
Attendees can preorder the exclusive variant at the special preorder price of $22 at CineQuest.com by clicking here and picking it up at the show. A very limited number have been reserved for members of Club CQ as well as non-attendees of San Diego Comic-Con.
