With all the swinging axe action we've seen thus far in the trailers, we figured Timur Bekmambetov's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter would be receiving an R rating from the MPAA, and now it's been made official thanks to the film's "violence throughout and brief sexuality".

For the last few months every time a trailer for this movie has played in a theatre we've been in, it's been met with groans from the audience in attendance. This leads us to believe a lot of people will be passing on it just because of the title. Guys, don't do that. Have a little faith!
