Bedlam

Picture a former mental asylum that has been spruced up to hide all the atrocities that were committed there. A fresh coat of paint, some wallpaper here, new shrubbery there; and the place is as good as new. And then the owners turn it into an apartment block. Great thinking, but as we know, you can't hide the ghosts with a simple trip to Sherwin-Williams. This is "Bedlam."

The horror-themed goods at Comic-Con just got a lot bigger and better with the confirmation of Friday, July 22's panel schedule, which includes some of our returning favorite and most anticipated new TV shows such as "The Walking Dead", "True Blood", "Bedlam" and "The River" along with films like Raven, Underworld 4, Fright Night, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Attack the Block.

One aspect of BBC America's "Supernatural Saturday" lineup that we've been looking forward to is the six-part series "Bedlam", and those of us attending the San Diego Comic-Con will be given a sneak peek of the show during an exclusive U.S. premiere screening and Q&A to be held Friday evening, July 22nd.

Syfy isn't the only network gearing up to attract horror/sci-fi viewers on Saturday nights as BBC America has demonstrated its commitment to the genre with the recent announcement of a refreshed primetime slate for "Supernatural Saturdays". In this slot the channel will roll out three all new co-productions, "Primeval", "Outcasts" and "Bedlam".

A new development has come to light regarding the proposed remakes of classic RKO horror pictures today, with the announcement that RKO’s new horror subsidiary Roseblood would be joining with Twisted Pictures to make the remakes a reality, according to Variety.
