For those of you out there who missed the first season of UK mini-series "Being Human" on BBC America, make it your business to watch it on demand if you can. The show was a powerhouse of good old fashioned horror that played like a completely supernatural version of "Three's Company" but with tons more bite. Like all good things from overseas ... an American version is now on the way.
The first promotional image from the BBC's remake of The Day of the Triffids slithered online today for your perusal, and we've got a look at it for ya!
A remake of Day of the Triffids is being prepped for production in the UK, and this morning Variety reports that a huge slew of stars have signed on for the project including Brian Cox, Eddie Izzard, Jason Priestly, Dougray Scott and Vanessa Redgrave.

While the premise sounds ripe for wacky hijinks, the actual execution was smart, funny and engaging.
