Lizzy Caplan & Antony Starr Join MARIANNE Director’s New Nightmare COBWEB

Seth Rogen and Samuel Bodin, the director of Netflix’s Marianne, will be teaming up for Lionsgate’s upcoming horror thriller Cobweb. And today we hear the cast will include the likes of Lizzy Caplan (Castle Rock) and Antony Starr (The Boys).

Bodin will direct from a script by Chris Thomas Devlin while Rogen produces with Evan Goldberg, Jon Berg, James Weaver, and Roy Lee (IT, The Departed, The Ring).

Erin Westerman, President of Production for Lionsgatesaid: “We are big believers in the horror business, and the continuous need for content so we are thrilled to be partnered with Vertigo and Point Grey in bringing Sam Bodin’s first film to screen.”

The film takes place in a small town, in an ordinary house, where a young boy hears a mysterious tapping from inside the walls – and suspects his parents are hiding a terrible secret. Lizzy Caplan plays the young boy’s mother while Antony Starr plays his father. The cast also includes Woody Norman (Poldark) as the timid little boy and Cleopatra Coleman (In the Shadow of the Moon), as his substitute teacher.

Production begins this month in Bulgaria. Are you excited? Make sure to hit us up and let us know in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
