Well, let the last two solid days of speculation finally come to an end. Would the legendary Don Coscarelli's new project be Phantasm 5 or Bubba Nosferatu? Nope, it's something entirely different that's rockin' a hell of a cast thus far.
This Tuesday, March 30th, is the long awaited DVD/Blu-ray release date of Glenn McQuaid's I Sell the Dead, and our trilogy of interviews with its cast and crew continues with the one -- the only -- Angus Scrimm, who portrays the character of Dr. Vernon Quint in the film.
Even though the movie is still enjoying an acclaimed festival run and there's no word on an official release date, I Sell the Dead is going to be getting itself a sequel! Fangoria caught up with director Glenn McQuaid, who revealed a few details about the status of said sequel:

Probably the most confusing of the Phantasm franchise, not really a series known for its linear storytelling, Phantasm IV: Oblivion is finally getting a much-needed special edition DVD release on August 26th as part of the Anchor Bay Collection! We’ve only made mention of it in passing once (right here), but the new horror/comedy I Sell the Dead is definitely a film we’ll be keeping our eyes on more in the future.
