I’ve been looking forward to hearing more about Giles Paquet-Brenner’s Walled In ever since I chatted with the film’s cinematographer, Karim Hussain (who also co-wrote The Abandoned and directed The Beautiful Beast), about it during the Boston Underground Film Festival. Finally I have been rewarded!

Just last week we gave you the first word on the directorial return of Lightning Bug (review) helmer and Almost Human effects head Robert Hall, the slasher movie Laid to Rest. The film came out of nowhere, it seemed.

Just yesterday we told you about a new horror film coming soon from AireScope Pictures, Leomax Entertainment and Anchor Bay called Grace. The story, about a pregnant woman who decides to carry her baby to term even though it died in a car accident, was intriguing enough to solidify my interest, so we tracked down writer/director Paul Solet and producer Adam Green, best known as the director of Hatchet and Spiral, to learn more about the movie.
