Almost Human

For as long as I can remember, the one thing my mom always taught me was to never talk to strangers, especially strangers with creepy vans. Looks like there are a few people out there that still need to learn that lesson as producer Detroit Riot Productions today announced its partnership with visual FX veterans Almost Human for the upcoming indie horror film Creep Van.

Last week casting news starting coming in on the upcoming project Devil, which is being helmed by John Dowdle (Quarantine). And now we have some details on just who is going to be bringing the Devil to life.

This past summer The Horror Chick Heather Wixson was able to take an exclusive tour of writer/director Robert Hall's special effects studio, Almost Human. Wixson decided to bring along a camera to give horror fans a rare sneak peek into the inner-workings of Almost Human.

Starting next week, Dread Central will be bringing our readers lots of goodies for the upcoming web series Fear Clinic, directed by Robert Hall. Before we dive into Fear Clinic though, Heather Wixson thought it would be interesting to sit down and talk with Hall about his effects company, Almost Human, and just how he got started creating gore for both the big and little screens alike.
