This scribe hit Rachel Belofsky’s Screamfest LA in Hollywood, CA, last night (as I do every night – extensive video and stills below), where Ti West, the director of The House of the Devil (review here) (screening as the fest’s "Centerpiece Film"), talked up his new series "Dead and Lonely", which begins airing on IFC Monday, October 26th, as well as the dust-up surroundng his Cabin Fever 2 (sort of).

One of the coolest things about Ti West's The House of the Devil (review here) has been the barrage of badass mock-vintage posters that have appeared over the last few months. There have been six in total, including the one we're about to show you. Just the other night a couple of Dread Central staffers got together to watch Ti West's The House of the Devil (review here), and if we didn't know any better, we would have sworn we were watching a long lost flick from the late 70's/early 80's. It's just that authentic. As are the three new retro posters that just landed in our mailbox.

Ti West's The House of the Devil (review here) is one of those movies that really has to be seen to be appreciated. It's a love letter to all the Seventies and Eighties Satan worshiping flicks those of us in our thirties and forties grew up loving, and holy cow does it look and feel completely authentic. Seriously, if you didn't know this was new, it could easily pass for an old classic. Need an example? How about a new clip?

Ti West's latest film, The House of the Devil (review here), has been making quite a bit of noise lately and deservedly so as it's supposed to kick a copious amount of ass. Good news for all parties concerned ... the film has been added to the 2009 Screamfest LA lineup, and it's gotten itself a brand spanking new red band trailer for you to dig on!

One film we've been excited about forever here at Dread Central is Ti West's The House of the Devil, and with good reason -- it looks friggin' killer! Even better, Magnet announced today that they acquired the distribution rights so we can finally see the damned thing!

It's no secret The Signal (DVD review) is a big-time favorite here around the Dread Central offices, and millions of fans have thoroughly enjoyed getting themselves a taste of The Crazy. Part of what made that film so memorable were the performances of AJ Bowen and Scott Poythress as Lewis and Clark.

Here at Dread Central we are big fans of both director Ti West and actor AJ Bowen. Well, actually in Bowen's case we're mainly fascinated with his beard, but anyway, to have them both working on one flick? That's what we call good stuff! We'd go to Tribeca for this film alone!
