Skipp Talks Jake's Wake

One of my favorite books of the year, Long Last Call (review) is, as you already know, headed for the big screen. Fangoria got a chance to chat with the author/future director John Skipp about the adaptation, as well as another project he’s been working on forever now called Jake’s Wake.

New Eden Log Teaser

A new Eden Log trailer has found its way online via YouTube, really the best place to find the latest and greatest video content. It doesn’t make a helluva lot of sense, but is still kinda cool nonetheless. The title refers to the company responsible for a series of underground paths and tunnels, which a man named Tolbiac must find his way through to escape a mysterious creature hot on his heels. Click here for the new Eden Log teaser and stay tuned for more info as it's acquired!

Supernatural Vs. Voorhees

Now, I don’t watch TV as a general rule. Not because I believe there’s anything wrong with it, it’s just too damn distracting. Most of my days (and nights, and afternoons) are spent pounding the virtual pavement for the site, so TV doesn’t get much play.

Final Horrorfest Poster

After Dark Films just sent us over the final, official poster advertising this year’s Horrorfest, November 9th-18th, 2007. As you can see they’re still using the same sexy/monstrous look they had for the last one, just a bit sexier … if you ask me. Keep it here; we’ll have interviews with most if not all of this year’s Horrorfest directors in the coming weeks!

Werewolves Take Over in Benighted

Could it be we’re looking down the barrel of a good werewolf movie again?

The Pulse is Strong

Pulse: Invasion, the second direct-to-DVD sequel to the American remake of Kairo, has just received a pretty decent cast. Hanging out at Rock and Shock this weekend, I got to meet some great people, both celebrity and otherwise, who I had been hoping to hook up with for years. One of the celebrities I’ve been waiting to chat with for a long time is Greg Nicotero, the “N” of KNB Effects.
