30 Days of Night Collectibles!

Gentle Giant; now there’s a company I want making my collectibles. They’re the only ones out there who had the foresight to make a figure of the crawler from The Descent, even if it is a bust and not a figure (see it here).

Mars Finds a Witch House

Anyone who’s ever listened to one of our audio interviews with various horror celebrities should be familiar with the Dread Central theme; screaming guitar, spooky voice and all that.

Theron Hits The Road

I think this is probably the best cast, pay scale-wise, to ever be assembled for a movie that is, at its heart, about cannibals.

Animals Trailer Online

Ah, animal instincts. Usually when they take over, the shit ends up hitting the fan. That's exactly the case in the first adaptation of a Skipp and Spector novel, Animals.

Tooned Up Hellboy

Hellboy has existed as an indie comics staple for years now, converting even the most jaded “men in tights” comic collector. Mike Mignola’s gritty style celebrates times of noir shadowed by splash pages seemingly torn right from the Necronomicon itself. Suffice to say, the man is a unique talent.

New Paranormal Activity Trailer

"The entire auditorium was freaked out of their minds...people were actually physically shaking...". So said Andrew Kasch after catching a screening of Paranormal Activity (review) at this past Screamfest. He wasn't kidding.

Come See the Trailer Park

It has been quite a while since we last heard about the Steven Goldmann's upcoming adaptation of the Trailer Park of Terror comics (“Trailer Park Teaser” – August 2007). We knew the film didn't hit any bumps, but news of the film's production wasn't rolling in.

Butterball Joins Blood

First Doug Bradley was cast in John Harrison’s upcoming adaptation of Books of Blood, which was cool enough for fans of the once and future Pinhead. But who would’ve expected another Cenobite would be cast?

All the UK Loves Mandy Lane

This one's for our UK readers; while yes, it sucks you’re not getting Cloverfield this Friday like we Yankees are (you only have to wait until February 1st, though), you are getting a movie a lot of U.S. horror fans are looking forward to a lot sooner than we are: All the Boys Love Mandy Lane.

Condemned 2 Trailer Surfaces

"When a guy like me is your only hope you’ve got a biiiiig problem ... and no one on God’s green earth is going to like the way I solve it." - Ethan Thomas

Final Fear Fest Additions!

You thought we were done adding guests, didn’t you? You thought, just because we’re less than two months from the 2nd annual Fear Fest, there was just no more room for talent, didn’t you?

Exclusive: Signal Star Talks Maidenhead!

Over the weekend I got the chance to talk to A.J. Bowen (pictured), one of the stars of The Signal (review), which is out in theaters on February 22nd, 2008 (full theater listing is here).

DVD Release: Monsters & Marriages

An interesting lineup comes our way this Tuesday, January 15th, 2008. Is any of it worth picking up? Read on to find out!

Underworld 4 Possible?

I never once thought the theatrical future of Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans was in question, but I guess it was by some parties. If you're among those parties, allow me to calm your troubled minds; the prequel will, indeed, be in theaters. I know this because Lakeshore Entertainment pres Tom Rosenberg told me.

Sisters, Earth Remakes Name Composers

It’s being reported this morning via Upcoming Film Scores that a slew of new sci-fi/horror movies are finally settling on composers, and since this is the first time I’ve heard mention of the upcoming Tale of Two Sisters remake (pictured) in quite a while, it’s worth a mention as it’s a very good sign that the film is nearly done. How good it will be still remains to be seen.
