Last Winter DVD Date(s)!

Ever since I got to see an early screening copy of Larry Fessenden’s eco-horror masterpiece The Last Winter (review), I’ve been dying to find out when the film will finally hit DVD, considering its theatrical run was limited at best. Today I found out and thought I’d share it with you guys! See how much we care?

Friday the 13th Redux Scouting Scout?

It’s not huge news but since it’s post-Oscar time in Hollywood there’s not a whole helluva lot going on this morning, so why not make mention of it? If nothing else I can make fun of Rob Zombie’s Halloween one more time...

Hellraiser Remake Writers Official

Though it’s now old news that Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan will be doing a page one rewrite on the script for the Hellraiser remake, which is still set to be directed by Inside team Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, Variety finally got around to officially announcing it today.

Mirrors Teaser Site Opens

Sometime last week an early teaser site for Alexandre Aja’s Mirrors, a remake of the 2003 Korean film Into the Mirror, found its way online. Though there’s not a helluva lot on there now, it’s a good sign that things are progressing with Mirrors even while talk of Aja’s Piranha redux is going on.

Abrams Talks Cloverfield 2, Dark Tower

The audio on this video sucks, just want to get that out of the way. Whoever was asking J.J Abrams questions at the US-Ireland Alliance Party (?) forgot to make sure her mic was working, so you’ll not be able to hear much of what she’s asking.

T-Rex Is/Is Not The Nail

Even though I really couldn’t care less about what Rob Zombie does next, aside from The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, it’s our responsibility as a horror site to inform you guys when we hear more about the recently-confirmed Tyrannosaurus Rex project, so we will. It doesn’t mean I have to like it.

Colin's Undead and Kickin'

Nowhere Fast Productions let us know today that they're putting the finishing touches on a low budget zombie pic called Colin. The film's title character is bitten by the walkin dead, and throughout the movie we follow him as he wanders around suburbia as a flesh-eating deader. Check out the trailer for the project below, and many more clips can be found at the production company's MySpace page.
