Attention all shambling masses! Now is the time to begin practicing your zombie makeup and your shuffle-walk. Pittsburgh's "The It's Alive Show," who for the last two years have set Guiness World Records for Largest Gathering of Zombies, has decided to go global, and is coordinating the first ever World Zombie Day.

Last night, the Horror Writers Association announced they would be giving not one, but two lifetime achievement awards this year. The first award will go to renowned horror author and editor Robert Weinberg.
