It’s about goddamn time someone tried to get werewolves back on primetime TV. Sure there have been some shows since “Werewolf: The Series” that have made minimal effort, but it sounds like Trick ‘r Treat director Michael Dougherty’s Fox show “Bitches” will be the one we’ve been waiting for.

Rights Dispute Hits Re-Animator, Hack/Slash Comic!

A press release rolled in today with some rather odd news regarding Hack/Slash's current storyline involving Herbert West, the Re-Animator. It seems a newly formed company called Re-Animator LLC has filed a Cease and Desist letter with the comic's distributor, Diamond Comic Distributors.

All right, we’re now only one film away from having the complete 8 Films to Die For list for 2009! After Dark Films announced today that the Aussie horror flick Dying Breed (review) and Adam Gierasch’s directorial debut Autopsy have joined the Horrorfest 2009 lineup.

I freely admit to having only seen a few minutes of CBS's "Forever Night"-ish vampire detective series "Moonlight" and coming away quite unimpressed. I assume most people agreed since CBS staked the low-rated series after one season.
