Lussier Talks My Bloody Valentine 3D & DVD/Blu-ray Release

Enjoying the 3D resurgence as much as we are? If Patrick Lussier's My Bloody Valentine proved anything, it's that this rediscovered medium is just as fun as it used to be.

One little indie film is causing quite a stir at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, and that film is Paul Solet's Grace! In fact, it rendered two viewers unconscious!

Carpenter & Hawkins Star in Red Sparrow's Vivid

Is it wrong that as soon as I hear the name Vivid, all I can think of is the adult DVD distributor of the same name? No? Good! Moving on ... Variety announced yesterday that UK production house Red Sparrow is launching its first film, the $1.2 million Vivid, which will be helmed by Reg Traviss.

Not since "Buffy" have I been particularly interested in televised teen-age shenanigans, but there's a new girl on the block named Gena Marshall. And in the upcoming dark drama "The Freshman", she leads viewers on a journey through the cliques and social standards of your not-so-modern high school.

Creepy Little Grace Clip

Anchor Bay just delivered a eerie clip/teaser for Paul Solet’s Grace, which is having its premiere at Sundance tonight, preceded by the short film “Rite” (review). Nothing too exciting in here, but it sure is creepy looking.

Blabbermouth is reporting that Dee Snider’s long awaited sequel to his torture-epic Strangeland has been green lighted for production later this year.

March Date for Last House Redux

Demo Date for F.E.A.R. 2

Attention those of you smart enough to own an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3; Warner Bros. Interactive announced today that the single-player demo for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin will be available for download on Thursday, January 22nd! The beasts over at IGN Movies got their hands on the new trailer for Outlander, which Third Rail Releasing is putting in theaters on January 23rd in a limited capacity. Jim Caviezel fights a monster from outer space with a group of Vikings; sorry, that sounds way cooler than Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, which is out the same day. Dig the trailer below!
