Just got our hands on the red band trailer for David R. Ellis’ follow-up to Snakes on a Plane, the college-kids-in-peril film Asylum. MGM will release Asylum on DVD this July 15th, so click here to pre-order it. Obviously since this is a red band trailer, you may not want to watch it at work, unless your co-workers are into this kind o’ stuff of course.
Now here's a DVD that's only about 9 years late, but when you're talking about a DVD release of Class of 1999 - hey, better late than never.
Take the Insane Clown Posse and former ECW wrestler Ravenm (also of WCW, WWE, RoH, TNA...) and put them in an Asylum mockbuster of the upcoming Death Race remake directed by the guy who did the blood-soaked Cemetery Gates and the seriously wacko Demons at the Door and what do you get? From the looks of the trailer for Death Racers: one seriously gonzo splatterfest.
House on Haunted Hill director Bill Malone just dropped a line to us to let us know that there’s a brand new trailer for his latest feature, Parasomnia, over on the film’s official site. And I have to say; it’s pretty damn cool.
On September 9th, the same day as the new Pumpkinhead DVD, Child's Play will be hitting store shelves again as it reaches 20 years since the killer doll ravaged a kid and his mom with voodoo and murder.
Did you miss out on Fear Fest earlier this year? Do you find the wait until 2009 just too damn long? Then get your asses ready for this October as Pit of Horror and Dread Central bring you Fear Fest 3!
Two decades ago a good man named Ed left his son for a moment. When he returned, the little boy was dead at the hands of some reckless kids. Grief-stricken, Ed turned to an old witch in the mountains to seek revenge by unleashing the demon we all know as Pumpkinhead.
Lionsgate has done it again ... created an incredibly effective, incredibly creepy and incredibly badass teaser poster for Saw V. Damn them, I want to get sick of this series already, but they just keep sucking me back in!
Need a good reason to make a trip across the pond? Or perhaps you live in the UK and are just dying for something cool to do? We’ve got just the thing, if you don’t mind waiting till August…
All right, I’ve been out of it for a while, but apparently a lot changed and then went back to normal for Dan Walton’s 80’s horror homage Bind.
I always love seeing one of our own do well, and by “our own” I refer to those of us who write about horror on an almost daily basis, getting so deep into the genre that it’s hard to imagine discussing anything else in polite conversation.
The remake of Clash of the Titans is still a go, no matter how much voodoo and black/white magic I dabble in to make it go away. Damn you, forces of darkness, why won’t you do my bidding?
Canadian site Sympatico has just posted the latest trailer for Darren Bousman's upcoming Repo! The Genetic Opera (review) just in time to whet everyone's appetite for Fantasia (check out the fest's 2008 schedule here).
If you've been waiting for just the right time to start watching Twisted Pictures' online series VLOG, now is it!
And it’s about time! I’ve been waiting all day for Fantasia’s official site to finally get the 2008 schedule up, since we’ve been giving you stuff to look forward to on it all week, and I can happily report that it’s live!
