Syfy to Premiere Monster as Part of Its Ani-Monday Series

VIZ Media has announced the debut of Naoki Urasawa's animated series Monster on Syfy beginning on October 12th as part of the latest season of the network’s "Ani-Monday" programming block. Predators Cast Expands by One

You'd think by now we would have heard about more cast members being attached to Nimrod Antal's Predators reboot than just Danny Trejo, but the filmmakers have been taking their sweet time in that regard. As a sign that maybe things are about to speed up a bit, we are able add one additional name to the list: Walton Goggins, better known as Detective Shane Vendrell of the acclaimed FX TV series "The Shield".

Fans Reward Paranormal Activity with Sold-Out Shows and $500K

Every once in a while the stars align and good things happen to this genre we all call our own -- and to the people who make the movies we love. Case in point: Every single screening of Paranormal Activity sold out last night, and the film is looking to rake in $500,000 for the weekend. Hearty congrats to filmmaker Oren Peli and to Paramount, which has executed a textbook successful marketing campaign for the film.
