Yet more chatter has surfaced from Harold Ramis talking all things Ghostbusters, including the proposed third film. Thankfully it's in video form so I don't have to transcribe the same old stuff he's been saying for the past several months once again.
Man, the waters on the set of Aja's Piranha 3D are really running red lately as several blood-soaked images have surfaced that truly give us an idea of what type of carnage to expect!

Gonna be at this year's San Diego Comic-Con and looking for something cool to do after dealing with the thousands of overweight people dressed in spandex as their favorite super-heroes? (Really? Fat Iron Man?) How about you get your asses to an exclusive screening courtesy of Focus Features of Park Chan-wook’s Thirst? Got your attention? We knew that would do the trick!
Of course you do! Just a few days ago, I bemoaned the fact that too few horror films these days aspire to be fun. I'm not necessarily sold on Jennifer's Body yet, but I do like the trailer. It's got a bit of a Hello Mary Lou - Prom Night II vibe, and if writer Diablo Cody didn't go overboard with her "hip and clever" dialogue (hard to tell from the trailer), this could be a total fucking blast.
The Final Destination probably isn't going to reinvent the wheel, but man does it look like FUN. Today's update is just another gore pic, but it should help whet your whistle for the fast-approaching release date of August 28, when it will go head to head with that other horror movie.

Who reading this has ever had a crazy friggin' sibling? I did. Every time my brother borrowed shit from me, I'd get it back "fixed", if I even got it back at all. Considering nothing was ever broken when I gave it to him, this was most troubling. In any event I guess I'm lucky that was the extent of it because Lionsgate's new film Frayed is set to show audiences how frightening brotherly love can be!
When I first came upon word that a low budget creature feature titled Bikini Monsters was just beginning production, I was stunned when it suddenly occurred to me that we somehow managed to go all these decades without ever having a monster movie titled Bikini Monsters. That's just hard for me to fathom for some reason.
IFC Films has quickly become one of horror's best friends by picking up lots of really good properties that otherwise would have struggled and giving them theatrical and on-demand releases, making them easily accessible to us blood-hungry fans.
Here at Dread Central there's no greater apocalypse we're interested in than a zombie apocalypse. That's why when word of a new indie film of that name surfaced, we found ourselves looking to unearth some goodies for you guys.
