Fresh off of offending 60% of the film-going world with the glowing and swinging dong of Dr. Manhattan (seriously people, lighten up) in Watchmen, director Zack Snyder dropped some details today about his next project Sucker Punch.
Finally the fourth film in the Final Destination franchise, simply called The Final Destination, has met the MPAA and come away with the rating we were hoping for!
Man, September is sure becoming crowded in terms of genre programming at theatres. Make sure you stockpile your popcorn money because moving up from its original October release is the Sorority Row remake.
Thanks to Focus Features, we're pleased to present Dread Central's second exclusive image from director Shane Acker's upcoming film 9: The character "7", who is voiced by Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly.
The second season of HBO's "True Blood" is in full swing, and fans of the show have been anxiously awaiting the first sighting of Evan Rachel Wood as Sophie-Anne Leclerq, the Vampire Queen of Louisiana. No photos have shown up yet, but Wood herself did reveal a few choice tidbits about her character.
The final poster for the Korean giant pig flick Chaw showed up online today. It's rather small, but a higher res version should be available soon.
Clip #2 from Daniel Benmayor's Paintball landed online today following up the one released just a day ago! Proof positive that this new killer means business!
It almost feels like we do as much press for Chris Nahon's Blood: The Last Vampire as we do for that little Rob Zombie movie which will be kicking around in August. After all, what better way to counter-attack the mind-numbing effects of the new Haddonfield than with a hot Asian chick swinging a sword and cutting up the demonic foes that come her way?
Jaume Collet-Serra's latest film for Dark Castle, Orphan, got itself a trifecta of TV spots showcasing reasons #1 through #85 why I do not want children.
Just when you thought a day would pass without something from H2 -- three new stills from Rob Zombie's highly anticipated sequel have surfaced!

The latest sci-fi/horror hybrid Pandorum hit a bit of a snag in terms of its release date today, but thankfully we only have to wait a couple of extra weeks for our long-needed slice of interstellar spookiness.
Season 4 of "Supernatural" ended with a doozy of a cliffhanger, and the September 10th premiere of its fifth (and final?) season can't come soon enough for me. So the news that Adrianne Palicki is returning for a guest spot as Sam's unlucky girl friend Jessica is like icing on the cake.
I've got a wacky idea. Indie horror filmmakers Ulli Lommel and Michael Feifer should have a fight, and only the winner is allowed to make any more movies based on the exploits of real-life serial killers. I'd be cheering for Feifer, if only because he at least attempts to make actual movies.
The Sci-Fi Channel's name change to Syfy makes me think of a scene from the classic miniseries "Roots". The evil white man wanted to change Kunta Kinte's name to Toby. They whipped him until he said it. Afterwards, a fellow African told him they can call him whatever they want; he knows his true name is Kunta Kinte. Bonnie Hammer can use that bullwhip on me all she wants; I know that Syfy will always be Sci-Fi, and not just because the words are pronounced exactly the same.
