Solomon Kane Gets More Genre Cred
An impressive lineup of genre actors have joined up with James Purefoy for Michael (Deathwatch) Bassett’s upcoming adaptation of Robert E. Howard’s Solomon Kane, the first in a planned trilogy, which we first told you about back here. Purefoy plays the eponymous hero.

Lussier's Future Discussed
Though it’s not much outside of discussion of White Noise 2 (DVD review), Moviehole just posted an interview with the DTV sequel’s director, Patrick Lussier (Dracula 2000, among others) that you may want to check out.
Red-Band Signal
Basically this is the supa violent trailer, the one some of you have likely been waiting for to get a taste of what The Signal does to its victims. It’s on IGN and it’s got an age gate, so you’d better be over 17 or at least know how to do the math before clicking here to check it out. The Signal opens on February 22nd in a limited capacity; be sure you see it while you can!

Spanish Shiver Goes to Coach
Though I’ve never heard of either Shiver or its director, Isidro Ortiz, the recent horror output from Spain is reason enough to pay attention to anything making it’s way to audiences worldwide.
Pulling Lots of Teeth
I am still on the fence about Mitchell Lichtenstein's horror/comedy flick Teeth (review). Kasch loved it, but the trailer really isn't selling it to me as a comedy film, or even a horror one at that.
Them Comes Home...
After an all-too-brief theatrical run (“U.S Dates for Them!” – July 2007), Dark Sky have finalized the specs and artwork for their release of the French ass-kicker Them (review); March 25th, 2007.
Savini & Steensland go Beyond the Pale
We’ve been keeping close tabs on the filmmaking career of Mark Steensland (“Sucker”, “Lovecraft’s Pillow”) and it’s a good thing, too, because it’s moving pretty damn quick now.
Ghost House Ready to Burst?
Now this could be interesting: a horror movie about an alien invasion that causes any human who comes in contact with the invaders to spontaneously combust. And it’s set in the middle of a snowstorm!

Say Goodbye to Rob the Cloverfield Way!
How would you like to be in NYC when the shit goes down on January 18th, 2008?
I know I sure as hell would love it, so I’ve already RSVP’d myself to this kicking party the makers of Cloverfield are putting on to celebrate the release of the film. But here, let me let them tell you about it;

Dexter Comes to CBS
Let’s say I’m not the only person walking around on two legs right now without cable. I know, it’s almost hypothetical at this point, but just go with me here. If that were the case, then the recent announcement that CBS will be airing the first seasons of “Dexter”, the massive Showtime hit about a forensics expert who moonlights as a serial killer, is some very fine news to those of us who lack the pay channel.

Raise an Alarum
We received an e-mail today from a name I haven't heard in some time. The beatiful Krista Grotte contacted us to spread the word about a film she wrote with Playboy photographer Bo Hitchcock called Alarum.
Exclusive: Three New Devil Doll Pics!
Nothing puts me in a better mood than getting exclusive images from a movie. OK, that mood is even more rich when said pics happen to include lots of nudity and puppets. Today such a dream came true when we got three new images from Black Devil Doll with F/X by Ed Martinez! **WARNING: THESE ARE NOT SAFE FOR WORK!!!**
Welcome to the Shock Festival!
Who'll Helm Jennifer's Body?
Seeing that Transformers hottie Megan Fox is playing the title character, I wouldn't mind being the one in charge. OK, now that you all are physically sick, we'll move on to the real news about who has been chosen to direct the pic.
