4Chan Has More Leaks About a New Silent Hill That are Totally For Reals Guys

I’m not going to beat around the bush here. These are 4Chan leaks. The chances of them being correct are hilariously slim. But I’m going to write about them anyway because, I mean, it’s a Thursday night and what else am I going to do? Play video games? Ha!
So there’s actually two different “leaks.” Both center on an upcoming PlayStation 5 State of Play event. The first leak claims the event will happen on August 6th. It opens up by saying that Square Enix is making a complete remake of Parasite Eve, and closes by saying Vagrant Story 2, so we already know it’s fake because these are two games that a really small group of people would love if they existed, but most people have no clue what they are. Sorry nerds. However, halfway through, the leak says Japan Studio and Konami are teaming up for Silent Hill, though not if it’s a remake or a new entry. Not that it matters, since it’s fake. Other claims include Days Gone 2 and Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster gameplay and Ps5 port.
The other leak is a little longer, but contains a lot less interesting… “leaks.” Can I call them leaks when they’re obviously fake? I guess. This one claims that the State of Play will be on August 10th and open up with a nearly 2 minute trailer of Silent Hill. Like the other leak, it doesn’t specify if it’s a remake or a new entry. Other claims by this “leak” include more gameplay of Returnal, a new character pack and Ps5 port for Mortal Kombat 11, and Demon Souls gameplay.
So there we go. Two totally true 4Chan leans that I can make fun of, and then if they end up being real (they’re not) we can quietly pretend this post never happened. Deal? Deal.
