Here's a moment we've all been waiting for. How will the Alien films look like when they hit Blu-ray high definition? Pretty damned sweet, that's how! Take a look for yourself! From the Press Release
If there's one thing we know about the proper Alien sequels, it is that Lieutenant Ripley kicked ass in every one of them and the character made famous by Sigourney Weaver has taken her rightful place as one of the strongest female characters in film history. So with two 3D prequels to Alien in the works, will director Ridley Scott be looking for another badass babe to pave the way for Ripley? You betcha!
We're so ready for the Alien franchise to get back on its feet again. Thankfully the director challenged with making that happen is the great Ridley Scott, who just spoke a bit about what to expect from his two upcoming 3D prequels. From an article in the Independent:
From the moment Vampires Suck was announced, we knew there could only be one man amongst the Dread Central crew who would be brave (or is is psychotic?) enough to tackle the job of sitting through this no doubt train wreck of a movie. That's right, kids, The Foywonder had the gumption to make it through the entire flick and bring you his thoughts. Dare you read them for yourselves?

Being out here in California has afforded us the opportunity to meet and hang with some really cool people, one of which is Max Landis, the son of horror master John Landis, who penned the "Masters of Horror" episode "Deer Woman" along with the "Fear Itself"
We know what you're thinking ... "Man, Monday sucks. If only Fox would release a third clip from their upcoming vampire comedy, Vampires Suck, all my troubles would just slink away!" Your wish is our command. Or something like that.
That's right, kids! Time for some more unfunny gags from the upcoming vampire comedy(!) Vampires Suck. This latest clip begs the age old question ... "Hey, is that the Black Eyed Peas?" Strap yourselves in.
And the train wreck just keeps on crashing. The first clip from the upcoming horror comedy Vampires Suck has hit online, and it looks every bit as good as everything else we've seen come before it. Excited?
So what's the tally thus far? A really awful trailer that was followed by really awful stills. Is it any wonder that the official one-sheet for Fox's Vampires Suck follows suit? I mean really.
As if we're all not thrilled enough at the prospect of the Alien Anthology Blu-ray boxset coming from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment from October 25 internationally and on October 26 in North America, the powers-that-be have released an official trailer and an "Alien Egg Animation Video" featuring the Sideshow Collectibles Alien Egg (aka “The Guardian”).
Season 8, yes, Season 8, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is en route to DVD courtesy of Fox Home Entertainment.
Though Predators was met with mixed fan reaction, it was still the best damned Predator flick to come out since the interstellar hunter blew up Los Angeles! Well guess what, kids? It looks like Robert Rodriguez is getting set to take another stab, or slice, or evisceration at getting the flick right!
Just when I decided to say NO to the upcoming Blu-ray release of Fox's Alien Anthology, they come along and up the stakes. Turns out I'll be looking to spend MORE money on the BD set because the ordinary packaging simply isn't good enough for a fanatic like myself.
Tom Felton, who is best known as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, has signed on to the latest chapter in the Planet of the Apes series, Rise of the Apes, playing Brian Cox's son.
