“I can’t tell you anything. We should talk on Good Friday. I think it would be better if we talked on Good Friday,” Piranha 3DD director John Gulager teased us tonight on the phone as we chatted with him regarding the status of the flick, which is set to go before cameras this Monday, April 25.
Oh, happy day! Scream 4 (review here) is in theatres tomorrow, April 15, and after you're done seeing it, you can don the mask and slay some digital victims! Does it get any better? Rarely!
And the Piranha 3DD details keep on coming as casting notes for the upcoming film have appeared online. Warning, though, before you read - there are some minor spoilers to contend with.
Joel Soisson has been making horror movies for many years now and has exhibited the unique ability to make just about anything he touches a little better than it could have been. His last film, the surprisingly watchable Children of the Corn: Genesis, is a prime example of that. Now Soisson has turned his attention to some soon to be bloodied waters.
Unfortunately it looks like we're going to be waiting a bit longer (in one case a lot longer) for two films we've been buzzing about quite a bit lately.
The Weinsteins may be down, but you can never count them out. Some more news for two of their latest acquisitions has trickled in, and we've got all you need to know!
