Coming soon from Magnet Releasing and director Thomas Cailley is the visually stunning take of the creature feature, The Animal Kingdom. The film, which world premiered as the opening night selection of Cannes Un Certain Regard in 2023, melds fairy tales with the real world to craft a magical yet heart-breaking take on genre storytelling.
In the film,
The Animal Kingdom is a visionary new thriller that drops viewers into an extraordinary world where mutations in human genetics cause people to transform into hybrid creatures. François (Roman Duris) does everything he can to save his wife, who is affected by this mysterious condition. As some of the creatures disappear into a nearby forest, François embarks with Emile, their 16-year-old son, on a quest to find her with help from a local police officer.

Romain Duris, Paul Kircher, and Adèle Exarchopoulos star in the film. Cailley directs The Animal Kingdom from a script he co-wrote with Pauline Munier.
Magnet Releasing will release The Animal Kingdom in theaters and on VOD on March 15, 2024.
