“We’ve actually been ‘upgraded’,” Russon tells us. “Since the original Dread article went out, we moved up from a block on the Lifetime Movie Network and up to the main Lifetime network’s Sunday night movie of the week!” The Au Pair Nightmare is an independent film that was acquired by Lifetime.

But wait… there’s more!

“We decided to upload the theme song to The Au Pair Nightmare, which, like the movie, is a Hitchcockian homage. My composer on the movie, John Jesensky, is a big-time conductor. He’s traveled the world doing all the Harry Potter Live cinema concerts. He and I have also been friends since middle school and he’s done the music for all of my short films, so it’s exciting that we both got to make the jump to features together.”

Synopsis:
After the death of her fiancé, Taylor becomes an Au Pair for a mysterious couple and their nine-year-old daughter — where she uncovers a frightening tale of jealousy, obsession and murder — and that she might be their next target.

The movie stars Brytnee Ratledge, Annie Heise and Tristan Thomas. The Au Pair Nightmare was written by 3x BloodList writers Joe Russo & Chris LaMont (their action screenplay, Open Source, starring Bruce Willis is currently in post-production).
